Manor Heath Park and Jungle Experience

Manor Heath Park is a 19-acre Green Flag park on the site of a Victorian mansion, and its Jungle Experience is a warm tropical greenhouse where children can walk wooden paths over streams and past ponds of fish and terrapins. Inside there is a butterfly zone with butterflies flying freely around visitors, a collection of tropical plants, and an insect-eating plant display. Outside, the park has a well-equipped children's play area, an outdoor gym, a seasonal water play area in the warmer months, woodland walks, a walled demonstration garden and plenty of picnic spots. A café with a covered patio sits in the park. The greenhouse makes a useful indoor stop on a wet day, and the wider grounds suit a longer family afternoon outdoors.
