The Garden at 120 is a landscaped rooftop garden high above the City of London, reached by a dedicated lift after a security screening on arrival. Its planting includes wisteria trees on steel pergolas, fruit trees, a long flowing water feature and plenty of seating, so children can wander, look for birds and insects, and enjoy the open space. The continuous walk around the edge gives views of landmarks such as the Gherkin, the Walkie Talkie and Tower Bridge, which suits families who want a calm outdoor stop in central London rather than a ticketed viewing deck. Visitors may bring their own food and soft drinks to eat on the seating, though alcohol and glass bottles are not allowed. Because the garden is fully outdoors, it is best on dry, settled days, and it can close in extreme weather. Entry is free and no advance booking is needed for individual visitors.
Planting changes with the seasons; wisteria and summer planting are at their fullest in late spring and summer.
