Facilities

We haven’t checked this venue’s facilities yet. Give them a ring if something specific matters for your visit.

Cody Dock is a converted industrial dock on the tidal River Lea, run by a registered charity as a community garden, arts and creative space. Families can wander the riverside gardens and footpaths, watch the dock's rolling bridge in operation, and look at the wildlife along the water. There is an outdoor classroom, a community boat, a gallery and exhibition space, and a rolling programme of workshops, events and seasonal festivals through the year, many of them free or low cost. The site also hosts education visits and therapeutic gardening sessions. It suits families who enjoy being outdoors in an urban setting, older children interested in boats, engineering and art, and anyone looking for a calm green stop along the Lea River Park between Stratford and Canning Town.
