Smith Square Hall is a former Baroque church in the centre of Westminster, converted into a concert hall and now run by Sinfonia Smith Square. Its building dates from the early 18th century and has towers, a vaulted crypt and a pipe organ. For families, the most relevant part of the programme is the family concert series, which is aimed at introducing children to live music through interactive performances, with seasonal family weekends alongside them. There is also a cafe and bar in the crypt. The hall is a classical music venue first, so most of its programme is aimed at adult audiences, and families should check the event listings to see which performances are suitable for children.
Family concerts and family weekends are scheduled in the run-up to Christmas, so check the listings for dates.
