Vivary Park is a late Victorian public park close to Taunton town centre, laid out by the council in 1895 on land that was once a medieval fish farm. For families the main draw is the large children's adventure play area within the park. Older children can also try the high ropes and mini golf at the Vivary Adventure and High Ropes Centre, and a café is available on site. The park has public toilets with disabled facilities, a tree trail and open lawns, so it suits a relaxed visit with younger children, with space to run about and picnic. Check the operator's pages for activity sessions and bookings before you travel.
