The ST Lee Gallery and The Treasury are free exhibition spaces on the ground floor of the Weston Library, the Bodleian Libraries' building on Broad Street in central Oxford. Visitors can walk in without a ticket and look at rare books, manuscripts, maps and other objects from the university's historic collections, with changing displays shown in the ST Lee Gallery and a permanent case display in The Treasury. Displays are presented in a calm, low-light setting, so younger children may enjoy looking at the illustrated pages and objects with an adult. The Bodleian's own family pages describe buggy access into the galleries, a family-friendly café in Blackwell Hall, and a quiet reading area with books for children. Families often combine a gallery visit with a stop in the shop or café and a walk around the historic city centre.
Exhibitions change through the year; check the events page for what is currently on.
