A small, volunteer-run local history museum in the centre of Bloxham, beside St Mary's Church. It celebrates the history of the village, which it has done since 1980, and collects items with a Bloxham connection, especially from the years when the village was a largely self-supporting community. Changing exhibitions run through the season, and the museum describes its displays as family-friendly. It is a gentle outing for children interested in local history, and a sensible stop on a day around north Oxfordshire. Entry is free, with donations welcomed to support conservation work. The museum also arranges group visits for local schools. Because it opens only at weekends and bank holiday Mondays in the summer months, check the seasonal dates before travelling.
Open from Easter Sunday to the end of October, weekends and bank holiday Mondays. Closed for winter; reopens Easter Sunday 2027 per the museum's site.
