Twist Museum is an immersive, walk-through museum of optical illusions and perception, set on Oxford Street in the West End. Its exhibits range from small hands-on tricks that visitors can examine up close to large installations you step inside, covering colour, perspective, shape, sound and heat. Families with children often come for the mirror rooms, kaleidoscope spaces and photo-friendly installations, and older children tend to enjoy the science behind each illusion. The museum runs timed entry, so visitors book a slot in advance. There is a shop selling illusion-themed games, puzzles and books, a vending machine, and a buggy park for pushchairs, which are not allowed inside the exhibition rooms. The venue is indoors and on one level, so it works well as a rainy-day option or a break from shopping.
Christmas programme advertised from 5 November 2026 to 4 January 2027 with festive activities for all ages.
