City of Peterborough Hockey Club (CoPHC) is one of the largest hockey clubs in the East of England, with more than 450 members aged 5 to 80. Mini Hockey for children aged 5 to 12 runs every Sunday morning (10:00-11:00, all year round) in association with Hockey 4 U, supported by older juniors and parent helpers - a fun, beginner-friendly introduction to the sport, with sticks available to lend. Junior boys' and girls' teams (U14/U16) train on weekday evenings during the season. The club plays and trains on its own Mick George Astro at the multi-sport City of Peterborough Sports Club, Bretton Gate, which also offers tennis, cricket, bowls, squash and racketball, plus a family- and dog-friendly clubhouse. CoPHC is a Children's University learning destination, and the men's 1st XI compete in the England Hockey National League.
Hockey season runs roughly September to April; Mini Hockey runs every Sunday morning throughout the whole year.
