Cambridge Kids Club is Cambridgeshire's leading wrap-around childcare provider, running Ofsted-inspected holiday playschemes, breakfast clubs and after-school clubs for children aged 4-12 (from Reception year) at primary school venues across Cambridge - including Histon, Cottenham, Cambourne, Queen Edith's, Ridgefield, Addenbrooke's and Great Shelford. Holiday playschemes run 8am-6pm during every school holiday, with each week themed around activities and outings. Children enjoy arts and crafts, painting, hama beads, construction play, outdoor games (basketball, football, tennis), reading and lots of free play in a self-directed, play-based setting. A mid-morning snack and light afternoon tea are provided (packed lunch needed), with special diets catered for. At least one special activity or off-site trip runs each week at additional cost - recent trips include Jimmy's Farm, beach days and Irchester Country Park. Staff are DBS-checked with first aid, food hygiene, child protection and playwork training. Bookings are made in advance via the Kids Club HQ portal, with early-bird rates available.
