Peterborough Rugby Club (Peterborough RUFC) is a community rugby union club based at Second Drove, Fengate - one of the city's oldest sports clubs, founded in 1924, whose first XV plays in Regional 2 East Midlands and whose junior section has produced three England internationals.
Age-grade rugby is the club's offer for families: boys and girls from age 5 (Under 6 minis) up to Under 18 play through dedicated mini (5-11) and youth (12-18) sections. Minis learn the game through fun flag rugby and games that build running, catching and throwing skills in a safe, welcoming environment. The club has dedicated girls' teams from Under 12 through Under 18, and the girls' section trains every Tuesday 18:00-19:30. The club describes itself as a family affair, hosting events for all the family throughout the year, both on and off the pitch.
Children play through the club's membership programme: Club Standard Membership is GBP 120/year with a GBP 82 U18 playing bolt-on (2026/27 season). Training and match days are held at the Fengate ground, which has clubhouse facilities, and mini/youth newcomers are welcomed through dedicated junior contacts.
Mini, junior and senior rugby runs through the season (roughly September to April); the club also runs summer touch rugby.
