Dogsthorpe Library is a Peterborough City Council public library on Central Avenue in the Dogsthorpe area of Peterborough. The library is open seven days a week from 8am to 7pm, using the Open+ self-service system outside staffed hours (registration required). It is free to join and free to visit. Children and families are well catered for with a free Rhymetime session for under 5s on Tuesdays at 10:30am, a Storytime for pre-schoolers on Thursdays at 2pm and a Storytime for 5-8 year olds on Thursdays at 3:30pm. The library offers books, e-books and audiobooks, free children's activities, computer access and an autism-friendly social story to help prepare children for their visit.
