Langer Park is a popular, much-loved green space in Felixstowe, run by East Suffolk Council in partnership with Felixstowe Town Council. Lying close to the seafront, the park offers open lawns and woodland for picnics, ball games, walking and relaxing, and is home to the Lost Creek Play Trail with stone sculptures created by artist Graeme Mitcheson with children from Langer Primary Academy.
The highlight for families is the modern play area, refurbished in 2023 and designed by Wicksteed Play with input from pupils at Langer Primary Academy. Suitable for toddlers and juniors, it features a zipline, basket swing, cradle swings, slides, sensory play panels and multi play units. Recent improvements also include handmade oak benches, new signage and information boards, and a reinstated public toilet block.
Entry is free, making it an easy stop for families visiting Felixstowe's seafront.
