Normanston Park is the largest park in Lowestoft, covering 9.54 hectares of green space purchased by Lowestoft Borough Council in the 1920s. Families can enjoy a children's play area, skate park, tennis courts, football and cricket pitches, a basketball half-court, outdoor table-tennis tables and outdoor gym equipment installed in 2022. The park is part of the National Cycle Network with circular pathways popular for running and walking, and offers access to nearby Leathes Ham local nature reserve. A wildflower meadow was created in 2025, and the Box-Up Cafe/Diner plus public toilets are on site.
