Luton Hoo Estate's historic Walled Garden opens its gates to the public every Wednesday from May to September (10:30-16:00). Explore the Capability Brown-designed walled garden and its unique Victorian service buildings at your own pace; entry includes a guided tour researched and delivered by Walled Garden Project volunteers. Children are well catered for with reduced entry and under-2s free, and the garden has hosted children's summer workshops and bug hunts. A refreshment stop at the heart of the garden serves tea, coffee and snacks, and the Woodyard Cafe & Brasserie is a short walk from the garden gate. Dogs on leads are welcome, parking is adjacent, and season tickets offer unlimited visits. RHS and Historic Houses members visit free, and each September the garden joins Heritage Open Days with free entry for all.
