Bedford Park is a Grade II listed Victorian park in the north of Bedford, created in 1888 and the largest urban park in the town. Spread over 26 hectares, it has a lake, multiple children's play areas, an outdoor gym and facilities for tennis, basketball, bowls, cricket, football and rounders. The Pavilion at the Park cafe serves homemade British food, there is a tree trail to follow, and the park holds a Green Flag Award. Three hours of free on-site parking with a ticket. Dogs are welcome.
