Barney's Play

Barney's Play is a family-owned indoor play centre in Uckfield, East Sussex, created especially for toddlers and young children (from birth up to around 9 years old). Sessions are pay-as-you-go and must be pre-booked online, with all guests including babies counted in the booking.

The centre has three main play zones:

- Farmington — a dedicated, fenced area for under-3s with two light-up sensory barns, a soft-buildable Terri Tractor, sensory wall panels, soft steps, a slide and play shapes. - The jungle-themed main play area — tree houses, monkey bars and crawl tunnels leading to a volcano (beware — sometimes the floor turns to lava!), plus a light-up shadow room, sensory space, and wave and tube slides. - Barnington — a free role-play village featuring the Village Stores, Post Office, Beauticians, Tea Room and Fire Station.

There's also an interactive sensory zone with light-up floors and bubble tubes. Food and drink is available on site — outside food and drink is not permitted (baby food excepted) — and the venue is allergen-aware. Barney's Play runs birthday parties, messy play, busy babies and SEN sessions. There are 20 parking spaces on site, with a free car park 400m away near Uckfield Bus station.
