Flying Fortress is an aeroplane-themed indoor soft play centre at Ford Airfield, West Sussex, between Arundel and Littlehampton. The giant playframe is built in the shape of an aeroplane, with soft play areas for toddlers and racing slides, plus an assault course, while babies and toddlers have their own separate, safe play space. Parents can relax in the 300-seater cafe, which serves hot and cold drinks, snacks and freshly prepared meals. The venue runs timed play sessions (morning and afternoon on weekdays; three sessions at weekends and school holidays) and offers themed children's party packages, plus group bookings for schools, nurseries and scout groups. Open Tuesday to Sunday, 9:30am-6pm; closed Mondays, Easter Sunday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
