Marros Riding Centre is a family-owned and run, BHS Approved riding centre set in 140 acres of West Wales countryside on the coast road between Amroth and Pendine. It has over 34 licensed horses and ponies to suit all standards of rider, and all levels are catered for - from first-time riders and toddlers to experienced adults. Lessons (private, semi-private or group) take place in a floodlit indoor school with a viewing gallery, or in the large outdoor school, and riders can explore 15 acres of the centre's own unspoiled ancient woodland on one- or two-hour treks. Children are well catered for with Toddler Taster Sessions (no minimum age), family Combination sessions (a lesson plus a woodland trek) and monthly BHS Pony Stars activity sessions for ages 3-8 (Juniors) and 8 and over (Seniors), covering grooming, tacking up and riding. The centre also enjoys working with clients with additional needs. A coffee shop overlooks the indoor school and there is a small gift shop. For experienced riders aged 16 and over, two-hour beach rides to the secluded Marros Sands are available (tide dependent). Booking is essential and full payment is taken at the time of booking.
