What’s there

  • On-street parking only

One Blue Badge bay approx 10m from the entrance; otherwise on-street village parking.

Only facilities we’ve confirmed are listed — anything missing here we simply haven’t checked, rather than know to be absent.

The St Abbs Visitor Centre overlooks St Abbs Harbour in the Scottish Borders, occupying the old village hall. Discover the history and culture of St Abbs past and present through interactive displays and exhibits, and see the rock pool aquarium full of local marine life - anemones, seaweeds and sticklebacks - installed and maintained by the St Abbs Marine Station. There is a small gift shop with cards, books, local artwork and kids' beach games, and the centre is a natural starting point for exploring the Berwickshire coastline. Admission is free, with donations gratefully received. All profits go towards running the centre, an independent Scottish charity.

Open 1 April - 31 October each year, 7 days a week, 10am-5pm. Closed during the winter months.
