Ample free parking in two private car parks (both locked at 4:30pm once museum and cafe close). Blue badge bays and 2 EV charging points in the Priority Car Park.

Jarrow Hall (formerly Bede's World) is an Anglo-Saxon farm, village and Bede Museum in Jarrow, South Tyneside. Families can explore a working living-history farm with rare and traditional-breed animals (Cheviot goats, Iron Age pigs, Dexter bullocks and primitive sheep), step inside full-size reconstructed Anglo-Saxon buildings such as Thirlings Hall and a Grubenhaus, and discover the story of the Venerable Bede in the museum. Wander the medieval herb garden with over 200 species of herbs, visit the ruins of St Paul's Monastery next door, and refuel at Hive Coffee Company inside the Georgian Jarrow Hall House. There are family events, kids' activities and seasonal happenings throughout the year, plus accessible toilets, baby change, free parking and picnic tables. Annual-pass tickets let you pay once and visit for 12 months; children aged 4 and under go free.
Open mid-February to mid-December. Closed for winter from December to February 5th. During term time open Thursday-Sunday; during Easter and summer school holidays also open Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
