Chiswick House & Gardens is an 18th-century Neo-Palladian villa surrounded by 65 acres of woodland, lawns and gardens in west London, run by the Chiswick House & Gardens Trust. The gardens and adventure playgrounds are free for everyone, every day - there is an under-7s playground beside the cafe and plenty of space for kids to play, walk, picnic and enjoy an ice cream. Families can follow trails through the gardens, visit the historic house (open Thursday-Sunday, with free audio guides including a children's guide), explore the kitchen garden, and join family-friendly events, workshops and activities all year round. Cafe Colicci next to the playground serves a kids' menu, and there is a gift shop.
