Chatsworth House is a stately home spanning over 25 rooms, including the Painted Hall, State Rooms and Sculpture Gallery, with art and artefacts spanning 4,000 years. The 105-acre garden has evolved over nearly 500 years and includes an arboretum, rock garden, fountains and sculptures. The farmyard, a favourite since 1973, has rare breed animals including a Suffolk Punch mare and pygmy goats. Children can access a woodland playground via a secret tunnel, with tall towers to climb, slides, swings, sand and water play. The estate includes restaurants, cafés, shops and accommodation.
