Newark Air Museum sits on the former WWII airfield of Winthorpe and houses 76 aircraft with open cockpits to explore. The collection spans aviation history and includes an engine collection, Lancaster Corner, Memorial Garden, Victory Garden, and exhibits on the RAF Regiment and 619 Squadron. The museum runs educational visits for Key Stage 1 and 2, holds events throughout the year including Cockpit Fest, and has a shop stocked with aviation stock.
1 Nov - 28 Feb: open daily 10:00-16:00 (last entry 15:00). 1 Mar - 31 Oct: open daily 10:00-17:00 (last entry 16:00).
