The Falkirk Wheel is the world's only rotating boat lift, connecting the Forth and Clyde canals. Families can ride the wheel on a boat trip, explore the visitor centre and enjoy the surrounding canal-side walks and play areas.
Thanks to the UK Government's 'Great British Summer Savings' our Original Tour tickets have been discounted due to the VAT being reduced from 20% to 5% from 25th June to 1st September 2026. During the summer we usually operate a 10-boat schedule daily. food outlets that are open during the summer months
