Inverness Castle Experience offers an immersive journey into Highland stories, landscape, people and heritage through "interactive installations, immersive exhibitions, and hands-on activities". The main South Tower roof terrace is fully accessible with panoramic views. Features include a tapestry exhibition and films about Highland culture. The Saltire Bistro serves "delicious dishes, hot and cold drinks, and snacks", and there is a Castle Shop selling items that tell stories "through scent, sound, texture or taste". Afternoon tea is available.
Open April to October, daily 10:00-19:00.
