Armagh Observatory & Planetarium combines active astronomical research with public attractions. The grounds span around 20 acres of green space, open 24/7, with views across Armagh. The Observatory itself is a Georgian building housing historic telescopes, viewable from outside on scheduled public tours or through arranged group tours. The Planetarium runs dome shows and exhibitions, with talks and practical demonstrations exploring topics from life beyond Earth to eclipse science.
