The Scottish Crannog Centre explores Iron Age life on Loch Tay through a reconstructed crannog — a loch-dwelling from 2,500 years ago. The museum displays the Oakbank Collection, recognised as nationally significant, alongside artefacts including Bronze pins, glass beads and decorated pottery. The Iron Age village features hands-on activities: daily blacksmithing, cooking, textile weaving and puppet shows. Expert-led tours guide visitors through the roundhouse and village. The site also holds a café serving local food and Glen Lyon coffee.
