Discover the story of Scotland's oldest Highland Regiment at Balhousie Castle in the heart of Perth. Home to a Collection of National Significance, the museum explores over 300 years of The Black Watch's military history from their formation in 1739 to their amalgamation in 2006. Features galleries of uniforms, medals, weaponry and personal stories. Includes an award-winning bistro, museum shop with Scottish gifts, daily guided tours, and a year-round programme of family events including themed drop-in crafts and object handling activities. Your ticket is automatically upgraded to an Annual Pass allowing unlimited return visits for a full year.
Summer (1 Apr - 31 Oct): 9:30am-4:30pm, last entry 3:30pm. Winter (1 Nov - 31 Mar): 10:00am-4:00pm, last entry 3:00pm. Bistro open slightly different hours.
