The Sovereign Centre is Eastbourne's seafront leisure complex, run by Better on behalf of the council. The indoor leisure pool features waterslides, a wave machine, a flume and a beach-style area with child-friendly features, while a separate 25m six-lane training pool hosts lane swimming and inflatable assault course sessions. A shallow learner pool (max depth 0.95m) is ideal for lessons and first-time swimmers. Families can also use the soft play area, book birthday parties, and join swimming lessons, junior fitness classes and gymnastics. On site there is a café, a sauna and steam room, an 80-station gym, sports hall and fitness studio. Parking is available nearby (pay and display).
