Box Hill is a National Trust countryside estate on the North Downs near Dorking, Surrey. Families can explore miles of waymarked walking and cycling trails across chalk grassland and ancient woodland, take in panoramic views from the viewpoint at the top of the hill, and stop at the visitor centre with its cafe and shop. Pay-and-display parking is available on site, free for National Trust members. Popular with families for picnics, gentle strolls and more adventurous hill walks alike.
