Rouken Glen Park is a 143-acre historic park around 6 miles south of Glasgow, voted the UK's Best Park at the Fields in Trust awards in 2016 and holder of Green Flag status plus a 4-star VisitScotland visitor attraction rating. It is open 24 hours, 365 days a year and entry is free.

Families can explore the waterfall and boating pond along the main paths, wander the woodland Glen Walks beside the Auldhouse Burn (including the 100-step 'Devil's Staircase'), and spot wildlife such as swans, herons and roe deer. There is a play park with a bouncy castle on weekends and school holidays (March to mid-October), a skate park, pre-bookable tennis courts, free table tennis bats, a basketball court and an 11-piece outdoor gym.

The Boathouse Cafe and garden centre are on site, with picnic areas beside the Pavilion Visitor Centre and a state-of-the-art Changing Places toilet facility. The Pavilion can be hired for children's parties (7 days a week, 9am-4pm, up to 40 people). A free Junior Parkrun takes place every Sunday at 9:30am for 4-14 year olds, and the Model Steamer Club sails at the boating pond on Saturdays. Parking is available in two car parks on Rouken Glen Road, with free on-street parking on Davieland Road.
