Ingliston Racing Circuit, on the outskirts of Edinburgh next to the Royal Highland Centre, is the home of supercar driving in Scotland. Junior supercar driving packages let teens aged 12-16 take the wheel of real supercars on the circuit's exclusive track, with ARDS-qualified instructors guiding them from the passenger seat. Packages range from a One Car Junior Drive to a Three Car Junior Drive and Junior Ultimate Drives (from £109), and photo packages are available as a memento. Adult supercar driving experiences and gift vouchers are also available. The original 1.03-mile circuit was built in 1965 and hosted famous names including Jim Clark, Jackie Stewart, Stirling Moss and David Coulthard before closing as a race track in 1995; a portion of the track now hosts these driving events. Events run on selected Saturdays and Sundays throughout the year and must be prebooked online. Free on-site parking is available, and the circuit is easily reached by Edinburgh tram, bus or Airlink from the airport.
