BattleKart combines electric go-kart racing with interactive gaming. You drive real karts on a track while projectors beam game modes and circuits onto the floor; your kart's sensors let you interact with virtual elements — pick up bonus squares to fire rockets at opponents, deploy oil slicks to slow them down, or compete in football, snake-catching, colour-matching and pool games. Each 15-minute session typically includes 3–4 different game modes. The karts have an anti-collision system and no helmet is required. Sessions run with 2 to 12 players; you don't need to book all 12 places, though the venue welcomes private bookings. You must be at least 4'9" tall to play. The activity is unsuitable for those with epilepsy, heart conditions, weak back or neck, pregnant women, and those with a pacemaker.
