Raceworld is an indoor karting centre with a purpose-built 400 metre circuit, so racing goes ahead whatever the weather. The track mixes fast straights, flowing sections, technical corners and a flyover bridge, and it suits complete beginners as well as experienced drivers who want qualifying and grid starts. Drivers need to be at least 11 and meet a minimum height for the main karts, with one smaller cadet kart available if booked in advance. Spectator areas overlook the track, so non-drivers in a group can watch the racing. The centre also hosts birthday celebrations, corporate events and junior and club racing programmes. It suits older children and teenagers looking for an energetic afternoon out. Booking ahead is recommended, especially at weekends and in school holidays.
