Xtreme Karting Edinburgh is a high-speed indoor karting venue in Newbridge, on the western edge of Edinburgh. Its multi-level indoor circuit uses state-of-the-art electric Rimo karts, with racing for drivers aged 12 and over (minimum height 1.5m). Sessions run as two 10-minute races or four 10-minute races for those who want maximum track time, and there are private GP race events and memberships for keen racers.
It is more than just karting: Xtreme Combat laser tag runs open family missions from age 6 in an outdoor arena, Game Over escape rooms are on site, and there is VR gaming for ages 8 and over. Birthday party packages are available for karting, laser tag and VR groups.
All sessions must be prebooked online, as the venue does not accept walk-in customers. It is easy to reach just off Junction 1 of the M9, minutes from Edinburgh Airport, with access from Edinburgh, Glasgow, Fife and the Lothians.
