The RSPB's Window on Wildlife (WOW) nature reserve is a 195-acre haven for birdlife and other wildlife within the Belfast Harbour Estate. Managed by the RSPB, the reserve features bird hides, a viewing window, and has recorded over 100 different species of birds and other wildlife including konik ponies, lapwings, and black-tailed godwits. The reserve offers free 90-minute educational sessions for schools including interactive workshops, tours of the reserve and curriculum-linked education activities. It serves as a vital stop-off for migrant birds from all around the globe, making it a wonderful family day out in any season.
