Eilean Donan Castle is a 13th-century castle situated on its own small island where three sea lochs meet, near Kyle of Lochalsh in the Scottish Highlands. One of the most iconic and photographed castles in Scotland, it offers family-friendly tours, a visitor centre, shop, and cafe.
Open seasonally 1 Feb-22 Dec 2026. Winter closure in January and from 23 December. Summer (Jun-Aug) hours 09:00-18:00; winter hours 10:00-16:00.
