Jubilee Lake is an area of ancient woodlands and flower-rich meadows designated as a Local Nature Reserve in 2007. A large play area keeps children entertained, while a nature trail winds through the site in search of butterflies and rabbits. The lake itself is home to geese, long-eared brown bats and other wildlife. A Kingfisher sculpture by artist Hannah Dyson sits permanently at the lake. There is ample parking at the entrance, and a cafe run by a local resident serves tea, cake and ice cream beside the play park.
