Bowood has an adventure playground with a strong reputation, plus water play to keep kids busy on a warm day. There's also an indoor Activity Barn aimed at under-7s, so younger ones have somewhere of their own to let loose.
The playground and gardens are outdoors and suit all ages, while the barn gives you a backup if the weather turns. Do double-check current opening times and prices directly before you go.
