The Isle of Arran Heritage Museum, founded in 1976, is located at Rosaburn just north of Brodick on the Isle of Arran. The museum sits on the site of a former school and includes a croft, smiddy, farmhouse, cottage, bothy, milk house, laundry, stable, coach house and harness room. Exhibits reflect the social history, archaeology and geology of the island. Children can enjoy hands-on exhibits, school parties are welcomed, and families love the beautiful museum gardens and riverside picnic area with ducks. The museum also has Cafe Rosaburn offering light meals and snacks, and a well-stocked gift shop.
