Gortin Lakes is a scenic lake set in the Sperrin Mountains near the village of Gortin, approximately 10 miles north of Omagh in County Tyrone. An easy 0.6-mile circular walking trail with a recently upgraded firm surface leads around the lakes, offering superb views of the Sperrin landscape. The lake is popular for fishing and kayaking, and the surrounding forest provides an ideal setting for a family day out in nature. The route is suitable for all ages and abilities, with gravel paths and gentle inclines.
