Davagh Forest covers 1,500 hectares of largely upland coniferous forest set in the foothills of the Sperrins, approximately 10 miles north west of Cookstown, County Tyrone. The forest features a network of walking and mountain biking trails developed in partnership with Mid Ulster District Council, including a circular waymarked trail around Lough Fea with fishing stands.

Davagh is home to the OM International Dark Sky Park and Observatory, one of only a few Dark Sky Parks in Ireland, making it a fantastic destination for stargazing and astronomy. The forest also offers forest road walking, and there are picnic areas and car parking available.

A circular walking trail (1.8 miles, graded Easy) takes visitors through forest trails with loose gravel terrain. The mountain bike trails cater to various skill levels. The forest is also used for organised motor rallying events under licence.

Nearby attractions include the Beaghmore Stone Circles and Sperrinview Glamping. The forest is signposted off the A505 Cookstown to Omagh Road at the Dunnamore turn-off. Lough Fea car park is off the B162 Cookstown to Draperstown Road.

Walking trails and mountain bike trails open year-round, weather permitting. OM Dark Sky Park events/observatory visits by pre-booking - check visitcausewaycoastandglens.com for details.
