Floors Castle is the largest inhabited castle in Scotland and family home of the 11th Duke & Duchess of Roxburghe. Situated near the picturesque town of Kelso in the Scottish Borders, this magnificent edifice is a treasury of sumptuous tapestries, art, porcelain and 18th century French furniture, set in extensive parkland and gardens overlooking the majestic River Tweed. Visitors can explore the historic castle, the spectacular Victorian Walled Garden with glasshouses, herbaceous borders and a formal Millennium Garden, woodland and riverside walks and a delightful cycle trail. Families are always welcome, and kids go free. The grounds include play areas, the Courtyard Café, Terrace Café, Castle Gift Shop and Apple Shed Giftshop & Pantry.
