Stewart Park is a 120-acre public park in Marton, Middlesbrough, holding a Green Flag Award. The park features a large children's play area with swings, adventure climbing area, trim trail, outdoor table tennis, and a unique climbing frame shaped like Captain Cook's ship HMS Endeavour. The Captain Cook Birthplace Museum is located within the park grounds, telling the story of one of the world's greatest navigators. An animal corner houses goats, ponies, chickens and geese maintained by Askham Bryan College. The park offers two lakes with water fowl, mature woodland walks, an arboretum, a 3.3-mile marked walking and cycling route, and a weekly parkrun every Saturday at 9am. Facilities include free parking with electric charging points, two cafes (Henry's Cafe and Cook's Cafe), paved paths suitable for buggies, and bike racks.
