Druridge Bay is a 7-mile (11 km) long bay on the North Sea in Northumberland, stretching from Amble in the north to Cresswell in the south. The bay features a wide sandy beach backed by dunes, with Druridge Bay Country Park situated nearby. Part of the bay is owned by the National Trust and coastal areas are set aside as nature reserves. The beach is known for birdwatching, with populations of golden plover and purple sandpiper. The Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty surrounds the area. The country park offers parking, walking trails, and picnic areas.
