Bolam Lake Country Park is situated in the heart of the beautiful Northumberland countryside surrounded by historic landscapes and dramatic views. It has lakeside, woodland and open grassed areas for all to enjoy with the attractive lakeside walk being accessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs. The park features a visitor centre and cafe selling a range of hot and cold refreshments, including soup, sandwiches, and local homemade cakes and scones. There is a bird hide overlooking the lake, a permanent orienteering course, and a play area for children. The park is home to wildlife including roe deer, red squirrels, nuthatches, swans and other waterfowl. Parking is available with three car parks, with the first hour free.
