Shipley Art Gallery is the North East's leading gallery of craft and design, located in Gateshead. The gallery houses an outstanding collection of fine and decorative art, including paintings, ceramics, glass, wood, textiles and metalwork. Families are welcome with a range of creative workshops and seasonal activities for children. The gallery also features a sensory space for relaxation and play. Managed by North East Museums on behalf of Gateshead Council.
