Jesmond Dene is the jewel in the crown of Newcastle's parks and green spaces. This ancient woodland park in the Ouseburn valley features wooded walks, waterfalls, a free-entry petting zoo (Pets' Corner), a playground, and the historic Banqueting Hall ruins. The Visitor Centre at Pets' Corner includes a gift shop, café, classroom and toilets. The park offers an excellent network of paths connecting to neighbouring Ouseburn parks. Free entry for all.
