No onsite parking. Nearest: Raven Meadows multi-storey car park (450m, 6 min walk). Shrewsbury Park & Ride serves three free car parks (Oxon, Meole Brace, Harlescott) with buses to High Street, 130m from the museum. Blue-badge on-street spaces on Princess Street, Shoplatch, Roushill and Claremont Street.

Shrewsbury Museum & Art Gallery sits in the town square and is the county's flagship museum and art gallery. The building houses collections spanning archaeology, geology and fossils, decorative art and ceramics, and social and industrial history. The venue runs a full programme including courses, workshops for schools, weekly toddler groups, and holiday activities alongside a temporary exhibitions programme. There is a museum café on site.
